Terms of Service

Last updated: July 2026

1. Acceptance

By creating an account, downloading the Corvanix desktop application, or using corvanix.app, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. If you use Corvanix on behalf of an employer or client, you confirm you have authority to accept these Terms on their behalf.

2. The service

Corvanix is an AI-assisted engineering tool that reads simulation/CAD data and generates reports, commentary, and other engineering-support outputs using third-party AI models. The desktop application requires Windows 10/11 and, for full functionality, a local installation of ANSYS Workbench and/or SolidWorks that you separately license from those vendors. Corvanix is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Ansys Inc. or Dassault Systèmes.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for activity that happens under your account. Tell us immediately at support@corvanix.app if you suspect unauthorized use.

4. Plans, credits & billing

Paid plans and credit packs are billed through Polar.sh, our payment processor and Merchant of Record. Subscription credits reset each billing cycle and do not roll over; purchased credit packs do not expire. Pricing, plan features, and credit costs may change with reasonable notice for future billing periods. See our Refund & Cancellation Policy for cancellation and refund terms.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service for anything unlawful, or to violate a third party's rights;
  • Attempt to circumvent credit limits, tier gating, or rate limits;
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or resell the software or API access without our written consent;
  • Upload data you don't have the right to share with us or with our AI sub-processors;
  • Use the service to build a directly competing product.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms, with notice where practical.

6. AI-generated output

Corvanix outputs (reports, commentary, calculations, generated macros, chat responses) are produced by AI models and are provided to assist a qualified engineer's own judgment — they are not a substitute for professional engineering review, sign-off, or certification. You are responsible for independently verifying any AI-generated output before relying on it for design, safety, or compliance decisions. As between you and Corvanix, you own the outputs generated from your own input data, subject to the underlying rights of any third-party content you supplied.

7. Your content

You retain ownership of the simulation data, drawings, and other content you upload. You grant us a limited license to process that content solely to provide the service to you (including sending it to AI sub-processors as described in our Privacy Policy). We do not use your content to train our own models.

8. Disclaimers & limitation of liability

No professional engineering advice. Corvanix is an AI-assisted software tool. Its results, reports, calculations, generated code and recommendations are provided for informational and reference purposes only, may contain errors or inaccuracies, and do not constitute professional engineering advice. They are not a substitute for the independent judgment of a qualified, licensed engineer. You must independently review and verify all output before relying on it for any design, analysis, manufacturing, safety-critical or other decision. You are solely responsible for your use of the output and for any decisions based on it.

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that AI-generated output will be accurate, complete, or fit for any particular engineering purpose. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law (for example, liability for gross negligence, fraud, or death/personal injury caused by negligence).

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Corvanix's total liability arising out of or relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You can stop using Corvanix and delete your account at any time from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of these Terms, non-payment, or legal/security reasons. Sections that by their nature should survive (e.g. billing history, limitation of liability) survive termination.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms as the product evolves. We'll update the "Last updated" date above; for material changes we'll make reasonable efforts to notify active users by email.
